The first time I came to this restaurant in Summer 2024 though the food was good the service was very slow. Mind you I went first thing on a Saturday or Sunday morning and it was a good amount of people. That is why I decided to give them another try recently and man did my mind change. I ordered online and by the time I got the notification it was done , went into the store and it was actually done. The waffles are some of the best waffles I have ever had. They taste so fresh, like cake ? I’m not sure but they are really good and online you have the option for them to be cooked well done and they follow that instruction to the T! We also got wings and they are fried to perfection. We got 15wings and 3 waffles for around 45 bucks. Fed us for the night plus has leftovers. We came back again recently and tried the fried shrimp and it was also delicious and fried to perfection! I will definitely be back, plus they’re open late!
The food here was great! And the prices were so reasonable. My whole family enjoyed it and everyone ordered what they wanted to eat. The kiosk ordering system was amazing. The options were plentiful. Wish I had one closer to where I live to visit more often. While we did eat in, everything was packaged to go. BTW- the coffee was good too!
I had the pleasure of visiting this spot for breakfast, and it did not disappoint! The food was flavorful, fresh, and absolutely hit the spot. I tried the chicken tenders and waffles, and everything was perfected—the chicken was crispy and well-seasoned, while the waffle was light and fluffy. The combination of sweet and savory was just right! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was excellent. This was my first visit, but I’ll definitely be back soon to try their dinner menu. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious meal!
Today is my second time ordering online, and I thought I might review my orders. I am an x cook in the US Merchant Marines, and attention to detail means a lot. The presentation and taste of the food and the portion size exceeded my expectations. As long as this restaurant continues to serve its customers in this manner, it will succeed. Kudos to the chef for plating my food in a manner that not only looks good but also tastes good.
I ordered 2 of the 3 piece chicken wings and waffles as well as the chicken and waffle glider for me and two others. We loved the food... Waffles melted in your and were so fully.
I’ve been coming here for years when ever I have to meet clients. Lunch and dinner is the best option in this area. Glad this location recently remodeled inside. Gone are the old sticky tables in are the ergonomic chairs and a station for their house made MAMBO sauce. Everything here is delicious. From the chicken, waffles, fries, potato salad and even half lemonade and tea drankkk. Location wise this is far from being safe. Your always going to see cops in or surrounding the area. Food never disappoints and you will always find a line here. Don’t be alarmed lines go really fast. Service is great and food comes out rather quickly. If your in the area for some bomb chicken n waffles this is the spot. Glad this place is doing well after all these years and they’ve kept prices reasonable.
Finally had an opportunity to stop in to see what was cooking! My first time and definitely NOT my last time!! I ordered the 5 piece chicken & waffle. Service was great & accommodating (as I’ve observed how the crew meet the needs & changes of customer’s ahead of me). The smell of the food made you anxious for your order, which didn’t take long at all.. approx. 15 minutes in & out. My entire order was delicious.. good thing I am off work today because I’m full and sleepy now.. Crack’n Up! Great service Country Style.. hopefully other’s will enjoy the food & experience as I have.
Country Style Chicken and Waffle was an overall great experience. The food was amazing and everything was freshly prepared. They serve more than chicken and waffles, so don't let the name discourage you. They have a a variety of seafood platters, sides, etc. The down side is that they are pretty busy during peak times and there is limited seating. Additionally, you have to wait and listen (Did I say listen) for your name to be called. Overall, I think it's worth the wait :)!!
